With 36 participants, it was once more a full house at the 15th edition of the club’s annual open tournament on Sunday, November 10, 2024. Like in 2023, the billiard room of the Sport & Squash Club de Vaart in Wilsele was the spacious and well-lit playing venue. The soup and sandwiches prepared by Miguer for lunch were delicious once again, as were the extra sweets kindly offered by some of the participants.
After 7 rounds, three players had scored 6 victories: Markus Förster (Brussels), Johan Segers (Leuven) and Peter Delmont (Leuven). As Markus had defeated both Johan and Peter, he was proclaimed the tournament winner. Congratulations, Markus!
In the Fonske club challenge, it were the players from Brussels (assisted by friends from France) that won the largest number of matches against players from other clubs. Bravo for the strong performance!
