The May 2022 edition of the Leuven Monthly series will be played not on Sunday May 15 as announced originally but one week later, on Sunday May 22.
The reason for the change of date is the City Triatlon Leuven taking place on May 15 and passing by the Kolonel Begaultlaan. Our venue, the Squash Club De Vaart will be impossible to reach by car. Parking in the neighbourhood will be a nightmare. We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this last-minute change of plans.
We play from 13h to 18h30 in Squash Club De Vaart, Kolonel Begaultlaan 15, 3012 Wilsele. Please arrive at 12h45 at the latest, so we can prepare the pairings and start on time.
We play five rounds of 5-point matches, with doubling cube and clock. No problem if you have never played with a clock before, we’ll be happy to explain you how it works.
The tournament is open to all players. There is no registration fee.
Results of matches played between members of the Belgian Backgammon Federation BGFed.be (10 euro per year, registration possible at the start of the tournament) will be registered into the national rating list.
The tournament is the second one out of three of the Spring Season of the Club Championship 2022. At stake is a spot in the semi-finals in December.
